Nexus provides a catalog of approved software titles for ATOM and ACME employees. Each title is licensed per seat, and seats are limited, so we assign them individually.
Available titles
| Title | What it's for |
|---|---|
| Microsoft 365 E3 | Email, Office apps, and productivity |
| Adobe Photoshop | Image editing and design |
| CrowdStrike Falcon | Required endpoint security (see below) |
| Slack | Team messaging and collaboration |
| GitHub Enterprise | Source code hosting and collaboration for developers |
| Windows 11 Pro | Operating system for Windows devices |
Licensed per seat
Every title above is licensed per seat with a limited number of seats. That means a seat is assigned to you specifically, and once all seats for a title are in use, new requests are queued for procurement. See How to request a software license seat and What happens when no license seats are available for how that works.
CrowdStrike Falcon is required
CrowdStrike Falcon is mandatory endpoint protection on every Nexus-managed device. It's not optional, and it should never be removed. See CrowdStrike Falcon: required endpoint protection for full details.
How to get a title
Ask the Nexus assistant for the software you need. It checks seat availability and either assigns you a seat or queues your request. Details are in the next article.
